Ecoterrorism: USDA admits mass poisoning of millions of animals

By Mike Adams
Natural News

It’s absolutely shocking news: The U.S. Department of Agriculture has publicly admitted it is responsible for the mass poisoning of tens of millions of birds over the last several years. It’s all part of the USDA’s program called “Bye Bye Blackbird,” and we even have the USDA’s spreadsheet where they document how many millions of birds (and other animals) they’ve poisoned to death.

Here I document the number of animals the USDA is actually killing, based on their own reports: http://www.naturalnews.com/031084_bird_deaths_holocaust.html

There’s even a video that explains the USDA’s involvement in a recent mass bird die-off near the border of Nebraska: http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=191572F79E8B2C64705B4AB182AF54F9

Not all the mysterious bird die-offs that have been witnessed around the globe recently are due to unexplained causes. A recent mass die-off event witnessed in Yankton, South Dakota was traced back to the USDA which admitted to carrying out a mass poisoning of the birds.

After hundreds of starlings were found dead in the Yankton Riverside Park, concerned citizens began to investigate. Before long, a USDA official called the local police and admitted they had poisoned the birds. “They say that they had poisoned the birds about ten miles south of Yankton and they were surprised they came to Yankton like they did and died in our park,” says Yankton Animal Control Officer Lisa Brasel, as reported by KTIV (http://www.ktiv.com/Global/story.as…).

The USDA then confirmed the story and explained it was all “part of a large killing” in Nebraska. Some of the birds that ate the poison apparently flew all the way to Yankton before succumbing to the poison.

Watch the video yourself, as reported from KTIV:

USDA mass-murders birds on a regular basis

So why was the USDA poisoning birds in the first place? A Nebraska farmer was apparently complaining that the starlings were defecating in his feed meal. The answer to this conundrum apparently isn’t to cover your feed meal but rather call the USDA and ask them to poison thousands of birds.

The USDA complied, apparently agreeing this was a brilliant idea. So they put out a poison called DRC-1339 and allowed thousands of birds to feed on that poison.

Carol Bannerman from USDA Wildlife Services ridiculously claimed the bird kill was also to protect “human health.”

“We’re doing it to address, in this case, agricultural damage as well as the potential for human health and safety issues,” she said. That’s just a lie, of course. In what universe do starlings pose a threat to human health and safety?

The USDA Wildlife Services website, by the way, is http://www.aphis.usda.gov

The USDA even has a name for this mass poisoning program: Bye Bye Blackbird. Through the use of poisons such as DRC-1339, the USDA has killed more than four million birds over the last several years, reports Truthout (http://www.truth-out.org/bye-bye-bl…).

They even proudly publish an online spreadsheet showing just how many they’ve murdered with poison: http://www.aphis.usda.gov/wildlife_…

Remember, these are mass bird killings that are funded with your tax dollars. It all makes you wonder whether the government is, in fact, responsible for many of the other mysterious animal deaths that have been reported across the country (and around the globe).

  3. Everything I want to say about this is unprintable, so I will have some fun and use quotes.

A bureaucrat is the most despicable of men, though he is needed as vultures are needed, but one hardly admires vultures whom bureaucrats so strangely resemble. I have yet to meet a bureaucrat who was not petty, dull, almost witless, crafty or stupid, an oppressor or a thief, a holder of little authority in which he delights in possessing a vicious dog. Who can trust such creatures. -Marcus Tullius Cicero

  5. From Spain; Foodfredoom: I post here a very interesting information. In 1998 “The Ecologist”, an english journal, edited a number dedicated entirely to GMO and Monsanto. The edition was interrupted and 14000 copies were destroyed by the printing company. Then, when they could find another printing company, the principals kiosks, refused to sell it.
    The editors send
Documents sent the documents to Spain, and a group of associations joined and published this number in spanish: Vol 28 N05 / Sept/oct 1998.
I have founded it by chance and I have write 2 articles speaking about that. The information is in Spanish, but there are a lot of information, I think this should be traduced into english. Download free the pdf documents, everybody and share. Two links (if you don´t understand spanish traduce on line):

    Greetings

    • gracias, semillas ~ do you have a link to the full spanish version (pdf?)

it looks like your article only links to several pages, but the original Spanish translation is over 66 pages.

I’d like to see the entire pdf

      thanks

      • De nada, you are welcome, I have the journal in paper, and I have scaned some articles. At the moment my adobe program only allows put each page in a unique pdf, and I published it in that way…
In the summary, at the top up in the left corner, is the adrees and e-mail of the spanish editors, an environmental association, perhaps if you write them, they could tranfer the documents in english, or provide information.
Anyway I´m going to scan the articles and put in order.

  6. This is beyond sad. How can anyone vote Dem or Reb? Either choice is the devil in the flesh.

  8. My bile is rising to the point of overflowing…does anyone know if this poison has a secondary kill factor? IE: your cat eats one of the dead birds and drops dead, etc?

    • right, exactly. the Terror Government is warring on Earth… all their toxic moves spread throughout the food chain, reaching humans as well as other animals.

  12. This reminds me about a document on Chairman Mao.
They had a problem that sparrows were eating a deal of the harvest.
Mao ordered a special day, when each peasant would hunt and harass sparrows until they dropped from the trees. That season, sparrows were no problem. Quite nice, eh? Unless you count that they got the worst yield ever without those sparrows eating all the crop-eating insects.

  13. Good animal husbandry and land stewardship require the culling of various bird and animal populations. I don’t think the word “murder” can apply here. Murder is a legal term that requires a human victim. There are certain extreme animal rights types who think that Fido is as important an entity as Grandma and their ethic is spreading.

Having said all that, in this case I smell a big fat government rat. I mean, why the big mea culpa? I don’t recall too many agencies willing to fall on their swords for the common good and it’s not as if they got busted doing dirty deeds. The problem was that huge numbers of birds were biting the dust as if set upon by some cosmic aviary hitman and a large public thought balloon began to rise containing a big WTF?

The entire matter had a military “ooops” smell to it until USDA raised it’s hand all Lincoln-like & said “I cannot tell a lie!” Oh yeah, since when? So now we’re treated to yet another government butt cover-fest, only this time we’re not quite sure why.

  14. Despicable! Beware people. USDA also “passed off” non-organic milk as organic. Your organic milk may have artificial growth hormones (think Monsanto) and it’s only free from hormones if labelled rBgh-free! Spread the word that USDA is sleeping with the likes of Monsanto!

  15. Monsters control the world now because no one paid attention.
Now these pricks can publicly ‘admit’ to this and all we can do is wretch.
Now, admit to yourselves that this is war–that YOU TOO are the target and get serious.

I’m not talking about “writing your congressman” or any other futile BS.
    This is WAR.

    • well, I just wrote someone:

I know it’s useless, but I sent a letter to Obama anyway… lol

      hope springs eternal.

actually, I figure if we inundate him with opposition letters, he might slow the process down.

in all sincerity, I believe the only way to go will be direct action. burn the gmo fields, dammit!

  17. Screw hope. We need direct action. This business of death has got to stop. This shit has got to stop. Period.

  18. just curious as to where you gathered the quotes from Carol Bannerman ? I didn’t see any reference points; if so, I apologize,m but I’d like to know.

  19. What I am wondering is if someone has started a petition, or is there somewhere we should write? I can’t find anything.

I’m flabberghasted – what a waste of life, and what a horrible way for those precious birds to die – trying to get food. BASTARDS

  20. Tina, you could always re-post this article to Care2.com ans start your own petition. Just a suggestion…

  21. Annette Plouviez-Cirilo

Birds are essential to the balance of nature. They control the insect population, they carry pollen on their feathers, and their droppings propagate plant life and are also a natural fertilizer. And can you imagine a Springtime without the beautiful songs of birds? The mass poisoning of birds and other wildlife will contribute to the destruction of our earth. Every species has a purpose in the chain of life.

  22. I think this move is also intended to prevent the spread of avian bird flu. Even if it does not hinder this disease due to the mass amounts of birds needed to be terminated to be effective, at least these “pests” are not contaminating food product. Being in the food processing buisness, I can first hand tell you that human safety is every business’s number one priority.
