    for similar info the old way, read The albrecht Papers, a series, by william Albrecht
    and Charles Walters a student of albrecht, also published many titles that really are must reads, what Joel says is what they said, from waaay back and its USA based for you lucky readers. soils bacteria soil nutrient microbes plants weeds and food and animal health.
    by NOT using chemical assaults, treating soil plants and animals with respect, and producing safe food for all of us, while improving our soils. a multiple WIN for all!
    then go and dig and plant:-)
