Feds Want to Require License to Drive Farm Vehicles

A new rule being proposed by the federal Department of Transportation would require farmers to get commercial drivers licenses.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, which is a part of DOT, wants to adopt standards that would reclassify all farm vehicles and implements as Commercial Motor Vehicles, officials said. Likewise, the proposal, if adopted, would require all farmers and everyone on the farm who operates any of the equipment to obtain a CDL, they added.

Ed Note: Here’s Alex Jones on this:

The proposed rule change would mean that anyone who drives a tractor or operates any piece of motorized farming equipment would be required to pass the same tests and complete the same detailed forms and logs required of semi-tractor trailer drivers.

Drivers would keep logs of information including hours worked and miles traveled. Vehicles would be required to display DOT numbers. A CDL in Virginia costs $64 for eight years, or $8 per year, not including the cost of an instructional class and the written test.

  1. Everyone reading this, make no mistake about it: The entire upper level structure of government and ‘civilization’ is in the hands of insane psychopaths. They have stealthily and steadily increased their control over the lives of every other person and living thing on earth. This is now known as ‘globalization’. Every decree, every law, every policy and every piece of propaganda is designed with one thing in mind: So that these criminals maintain their power, their control and avoid the right and necessary prosecution and removal from power, by the rest of the people of earth and of the earth itself. These monsters are steadfast in their belief in their superiority and in their technical, albeit heinous s0-called evolved ‘science’ capabilities that to them,
signify the absolute correctness of any decision they make, regardless of the destruction or the enormity of the suffering they bring on to us and all other life on the planet. We are dealing with, as I said, a MONSTROSITY.

Please do not allow them to continue.

Fight back in whatever way you can.

    Thank you.

    • Gosh Man, you hit the nail on the head, absolutely (good job) .
let’s hope like hell that more and more people begin to wake up and see the light and the fraudulent system we have agreed to and completely unplug from it all , no matter what the consequences. there will be no earth left to take care of us if we choose not to stand up and say NO MORE! rob

  2. Well-said, nedlud!

  3. good onya Ned.
ok in aus we have simply the requirement to get a rego plate and have a normal car licence IF your’e taking the tractor on the rd,
thats maibly so theres insurance for 3rd parties in case of accident, (our licence fees inc a cost of 3rd party)
on farm its up to the owner who drives and where on farm, many kids here drive the farm vehicles, and do it very very well.
Semitrailers and Big B doubles licences here cost many thousands, I guess? your do also?
as someone whos just learnt to drive manual/4wd farm utes, and now a 1000hp tractor, I know what I would rather drive. the tractor!
it handles better than my car does. or the ute.
you could blow their argument outta the water by getting stats on accidents on rds usa wide involving farm equipment, my guess is the hit rate will be hysterically LOW.

    • Good to hear from someone in Australia. Accidents happen, but common sense and NOT feeling forced to operate at ridiculous speeds, for long hours without break, will keep accidents a lot lower and less deadly. And when they do happen, there should be local (neighborhood and community) responses for grief and harm and for the reconciliation process and we should not be dependent on mega-insurance monopolies that
may throw a little money at the victims but that
basically operate as a HUGE profit scam.

People, we need to do this!

Thanks for the interesting comment, ozspeakup.

  4. Absurd! How long until we have to buy tags and have minimum insurance requirements for every tractor, four-wheeler, lawn mower, sleigh, and donkey cart?
