Dr. Terry Wahls learned how to properly fuel her body. Using the lessons she learned at the subcellular level, she used diet to cure her MS and get out of her wheelchair.
.
In 2003 Terry Wahls, M.D., was diagnosed with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and soon became dependent upon a tilt-recline wheelchair.
After developing and using the Wahls Protocol™, she is now able to walk through the hospital and commute to work by bicycle.
She now uses intensive directed nutrition in her primary care and traumatic brain injury clinics.
Dr. Wahls is the lead scientist in a clinical trial testing her protocol in others with progressive MS.

interesting.
theres work being done on the similarities between MS/ prion diseases and mineral imbalances and Vit D lack.. british chap found some good evidence re mandatorily vax,d animals and following diseases said to be prion but probably not.
her choice of diet would seem to concur with processing losing nutrients etc.
and what an indictment against GMO and nanofoods, too!
Just another reason to avoid all drug pushing white coats like the plague.
From her website, “I am a clinical professor of medicine” …
Enough said,
Happy Trails, . . .
Great item keep up the good work!
It is good work and Dr. Wahls information goes a long way toward helping us find the real cures that work. But diet alone is just one leg up on disease and many times does not work by itself because it leaves roots to the disease still in place such as stress.
In order to really get head and shoulders above the diseases that are killing so many you need to go beyond diet and pull-up all the roots. You need to add into the formula Cleansing and Detoxing the major filter organs the liver and kidneys and the other three organs of elimination bowel, skin and lungs plus the lymph system. You also need exercise because it moves the blood, brings in oxygen, assists in the detoxing and helps relieve stress. Also we need to directly focus on the stress that is in our lives that can trigger disease like relationships, our work and stress from our past. And lastly develop a spiritual foundation that blunts anger, envy, deceit and cowardice etc. while increasing love, truth, bravery, empathy, morality, diligence and benevolence etc.
It means that the person who is sick has to take charge of their health and get their life back, not easy but it will cure any disease.
Doc Blake
Woodrow C. Monte, PhD, a food scientist, researcher, and Professor Emeritus of Food Science and Nutrition at Arizona State University, has just published a comprehensive book, “While Science Sleeps, a Sweetener Kills,” which is now available on Amazon.com. The book specifically solves the mystery of the cause of Multiple Sclerosis – and it confirms the reason why the “hunter-gatherer” diet worked!
The book presents Dr. Monte’s lifetime of research into the nutritional causes of the major diseases of civilization. His own research, along with the research of hundreds of other scientists, is presented in language the average reader can understand and apply to very easily avoid many of the worst diseases that currently kill the majority of people in the civilized world. Dr. Monte has carefully and thoughtfully pieced together the scientific evidence found in hundreds of scientific studies to show convincingly that the single culprit is methanol – a molecule found primarily in canned fruits and vegetables, tomatoes, cigarette smoke, smoked foods, and the artificial sweetener aspartame. Methanol is converted by the enzyme known as Alcohol Dehydrogenase Class 1 (ADH1) into formaldehyde inside the body’s most sensitive tissues.
It is methanol that makes the aspartame taste sweet, and within ten minutes of consuming it, the methanol is released from its chemical bond. Each liter of diet soda contains the amount of methanol found in a pack of cigarettes, and evidence is mounting that diseases traditionally associated with smoking – most recently, heart disease and stroke – are now being associated specifically with aspartame consumption.
The human body converts dietary methanol into formaldehyde in the stomach, liver, veins and arteries, lungs, pancreas, skin, breast, and brain. Dr. Monte makes a compelling case that it is this process, and the disease that results, that is responsible for the epidemics of a variety of cancers, heart disease, diabetes, autoimmune diseases like Lupus and Multiple Sclerosis, autism, and Alzheimer’s disease that have exploded over the past thirty years since the introduction of aspartame in the summer of 1981.
The book also contains information and documentation showing that the product’s manufacturers and their friends in the Food & Drug Administration knew the dangers posed by aspartame, yet buried the evidence and released it for public consumption despite the risk. Furthermore, they knowingly marketed it to those research had demonstrated were particularly vulnerable to its harmful effects – diabetics and pregnant mothers. Since that time, adult onset diabetes has more than doubled worldwide, with diabetics dying from the major diseases of civilization at a much higher rate than the average population.
Deaths from Alzheimer’s disease, in which formaldehyde inside the brain destroys memory function, have increased 10,000% since 1981. Neural tube birth defects are up around 70% in the same period of time despite efforts to compensate with recommended folic acid.
Dr. Monte has decades of experience in food science and nutrition as a researcher, teacher, inventor, industry consultant and consumer advocate who is committed to food additive safety and the prevention of food borne diseases. He is a dedicated scientist with both a Ph.D. and M.S. in Food Science and Nutrition and a B.S. in Biology. He has been a Registered Dietician, Certified Nutrition Specialist AIN, professional member of the American Chemical Society and emeritus member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. In 1985, he was chosen by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars as a Senior Fulbright Scholar. His testimony before Congress was instrumental in the prevention of Sulfites from receiving status of US FDA GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) and the implementation of mandatory labeling for most foods that contain this dangerous additive. Sounds fine and yummy to me…as long as I can have my 2 cups of tea each day.

Good news: Dr. Monte has made the chapter from his book that deals specifically with MS available for free download on his website. You don’t have to log in, register, or pay any money. It’s free and easy! Read it for yourself and find out how you are being exposed to methanol – the one and only cause of MS.

My husband has just ben diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and we want to try anything to help..this diet sounds like the answer!
WhileScienceSleeps.com gives a free online archive of 745 full text medical report references to back the breakthrough paradigm that in humans methanol is made into formaldehyde by ADH1 enzyme in 19 specific tissues, causing 19 novel modern “diseases of civilization”, ranging from Alzheimer’s and MS to major heart and blood vessel diseases to birth defects, autism and spina bifida, by Prof. Woodrow C. Monte, Food Science and Nutrition, Arizona State University, retired 2004. See also earlier site TheTruthAboutStuff.com . Methanol comes from cigarette and wood smoke, aspartame, dark wines and liquors, fruits juices vegetables preserved wet in sealed cans jars plastics, smoked fermented and spoiled foods, fresh tomatoes and black currants, some fresh coffees, and many other sources. The production of formaldehyde is blocked by low levels of ethanol in the blood, which explains the mystery of why those who drink once daily are about half as likely to have chronic diseases than those who never drink — the famous U-shaped curve.

I hope this open the eyes of a lot of people to learn to eat better, this is a gift for all of us that really want to make a change in our life, thank you.
found the report and video very informing and in some ways under lines my experience .i was diagnosed with prostate cancer which had metastasised to several places including my spine, hip, thigh, shoulder and rib ,my prognosis was not very good and was months rather years with no cure ,though delaying treatment was offered, so i looked at my dietary intake
further more to my last post ,i replaced what was a diet high in processed foods as well as dairy and replaced it with more of a diet in line with what has been highlighted ( for dairy milk i use coconut milk (soya acts against some medication) and 30 months on i am feeling very good . i would also agree on some comments made by DR P Blake as with most major illness a two pronged attack is mostly required.
I am regular visitor, how are you everybody? This article posted at this web page is truly pleasant.
Yes! Finally something about multiple sclerosis.
would taking these vitamins in pill form have the same effect?
I was more than happy to discover this site. I want to to thank you for ones time for this wonderful read!! I definitely liked every bit of it and i also have you book-marked to see new things in your website.|
