On January 31st, family farmers from across the county will take part in the first phase of the OSGATA et al. v. Monsanto court case filed to protect farmers from genetic trespass by Monsanto’s genetically modified (GMO) seed, which can contaminate organic and non-GMO farmers’ crops and open them up to abusive lawsuits.

As a result of aggressive lawsuits against farmers with contaminated crops, Monsanto has created an atmosphere of fear in rural America and driven dozens of farmers into bankruptcy.
But farmers are fighting back!
The Federal District Court judge has agreed to hear oral arguments in this landmark case to decide whether or not this case will move forward.
Occupy Wall Street Food Justice, Occupy Big Food and Food Democracy Now! will assemble at Foley Square in Manhattan in solidarity with farmers on the front lines of the struggle against corporate domination of our food system.

At least, someone cares about my health for what I feed to my body, produced wrong by MONSANTO.
Since, this is the health issue, the new healthcare supporters and opponents must get involved, to save life and Money for America. The GMO issue does affect both the right and left wing politicians.

This is the same Monsanto that created the most potent form of Agent Orange as well as the most voluminous, during the Vietnam war. They have never apologized nor have they given a cent to any of the millions of Vietnamese who were and continue to be destroyed. GMO is no different. It is another threat to mankind. Well, the patient knows his/her pain, more than the Doctor, who examine them occasionally.
However, MONSANTO’s GMO, has positive aspects and contributions to the speed-up growing highly populations around the World. …that’s the only way to grow our foods, since it’s the only available technology found in our time. Just take for instance, One Apple can’t be enough to feed for Families of Fifteen. But, with fertilizer made by MONSANTO’s GMO, it is possible to feed the above mentioned Families, but medical attention or some recipes needed, for best results.
If there are no fertilizers, the chances of deaths caused by starvation will be higher.
…creating larger populations to feed, guaranteeing even greater starvation in the coming years (and thus even greater dependence on Monsanto products, they hope).
Monsanto is not in the business of feeding people; it is in the business of Making Money (i.e., extracting an exponentially larger share of world resources each year and arrogating it to themselves). The company does so whether through making toxic pesticides or defoliation agents, or through monopolizing the gene pool of food crops. They don’t really care how they “git ‘er done”, as long as the money keeps rolling in and they are in the catbird seat, with bought politicians and bought Supreme Ct. justices.
When the diminishing returns of their Round-Up resistent and pest-resistent strains become fully apparent, I wouldn’t put it past them to get into the Soylent Green business.
It has been good to see in the past few days many protests against Monsanto in the St Louis at the annual general meeting, in Hawaii, and in Cambridge, UK.
Pressure has to be maintained and increased against this vile company responsible for so many ills in many countries.

yes, the court system, that’s the ticket. the system that provides monsanto systemic advantages in ‘fighting’, rather ‘abusing’ , people who cannot afford courts. yes yes, let’s use the courts, that’s the ticket to win.
