Two Day Event in Support of Wisconsin farmer Vernon Hershberger

Wisconsin dairy farmer Vernon Hershberger only sells his farm’s milk and other produce to a private food club.  Yet the state’s Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has charged Hershberger with four criminal misdemeanors that could land him in prison for three years with fines of over $10,000. He is due in court on March 2nd.

Raw Milk Freedom RidersFarm Food Freedom Coalition and WAPF have organized a two-day event in support of Hershberger for March 1 and 2:

  1. HOORAY I am glad he is getting some support. The dairy Nazi’s need a slap in the snout.

  2. Meanwhile, it’s perfectly all right to sell genetically modified food without labels. And you have to wonder if the big dairy farms are behind the push to put small farmers out of business because, you know, selling unadulterated food is illegal. Sad
    Thanks for posting this.
