FDA: You have no natural right to food, health, or private contracts

Raw milk battle reveals FDA abandonment of basic human right to choose your food

By Mike Adams
Natural News

The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF), an organization whose mission includes “defending the rights and broadening the freedoms of family farms and protecting consumer access to raw milk and nutrient dense foods”, recently filed a lawsuit against the FDA for its ban on interstate sales of raw milk. The suit alleges that such a restriction is a direct violation of the United States Constitution. Nevertheless, the suit led to a surprisingly cold response from the FDA about its views on food freedom (and freedoms in general).

In a dismissal notice issued to the Iowa District Court where the suit was filed, the FDA officially made public its views on health and food freedom. These views will shock you, but they reveal the true evil intent of the FDA and why it is truly a rogue federal agency.

a. There is No Right to Consume or Feed Children Any Particular Food
b. There is No Generalized Right to Bodily and Physical Health
c. There is No Fundamental Right to Freedom of Contract

The FDA essentially believes that nobody has the right to choose what to eat or drink. You are only “allowed” to eat or drink what the FDA gives you permission to. There is no inherent right or God-given right to consume any foods from nature without the FDA’s consent.

  1. I still can’t believe it. Here’s what the FDA said:

    a. There is No Right to Consume or Feed Children Any Particular
    Food. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 25
    b. There is No Generalized Right to Bodily and Physical Health. 26
    c. There is No Fundamental Right to Freedom of Contract.. . . . 27

  2. Will we be sneaking around in our own backyard trying to grow a safe tomato as if it were some form of “illegal” leafy plant? This assault is making my head reel.

If this thing passes, I guess cigarettes, alcohol and mind numbing drugs (from big pharma) will still be easily obtainable, right? Please???

  3. Btw, I “Buzzed” this up. Hope we can spread the word.

    • thx for buzzing this, Jimmie.

It’s amazing when you consider how many FDA approved substances kill people, thousands of them.

  4. I can’t remember who said this — probably David Gumpert or Mike Adams — but the writer called FDA approved milk “liquid chemical sludge

absolutely correct; bovine growth hormone? CAFO-raised diary cows overdrugged and under exercised? grain fed (instead of grass fed)?

    yuck.

I haven’t ever tried raw milk, but I did stop drinking FDA approved CAFO milk

  6. And see President’s Cancer Panel: Organic Foods Reduce Environmental Risks at http://www.cnbc.com/id/36995485

“GREENFIELD, Mass., May 6, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — Organic Trade Association (OTA) hails panel for empowering consumers with ways to reduce their cancer risk The President’s Cancer Panel Report released today exhorts consumers to choose food grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, antibiotics, and growth hormones to help decrease their exposure to environmental chemicals that can increase their risk of contracting cancer. Organic products avoid the use of these chemicals.”

But factory milk IS made with antibiotics and growth hormones; so this kinda throws a pie in the FDA’s fascist face.

  29. New story:

“State agent inspects sack lunches, forces preschoolers to purchase cafeteria food instead

A preschooler at West Hoke Elementary School ate three chicken nuggets for lunch Jan. 30 because a state employee told her the lunch her mother packed was not nutritious. The girl’s turkey and cheese sandwich, banana, potato chips, and apple juice did not meet U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines, according to the interpretation of the agent who was inspecting all lunch boxes in her More at Four classroom that day.”

  30. Actually, we do have a right to health because we have a right to “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”. While the courts haven’t made a direct link between the right to “health” and the right to “life”, the courts have made connections between the right to life and anything that interferes with that right.

Since unhealthy people tend to die sooner than they otherwise would I would argue that we do have a right to health, since that is a prerequisite for a genuine right to life.
